CBD Sugar Scrub!
California is so good to me and my traveling toes. No matter the season, I can explore this hip state and find myself anywhere from a lush rainy forest to a snowcapped peak, a desert oasis to a flower jeweled meadow. The earth kisses the cool Pacific waters if you head west far enough, and in the other direction crystals crack open to reveal 'gold in them there hills' when the river lowers. Life is pretty good here, especially when harvest season comes around. ;) I have seen all of what California has to offer. California's droughts, fires, and intense sun can sometimes wreak havoc on my skin and cause my pores to clog up and I get some acne and inflammation.
This is a simple and quick CBD infused sugar scrub recipe. I use it to exfoliate using the powers of CBD. It is great for my tired hands, lips, dry skin, dry heels and toes, acne, eczema, psoriasis, knees and elbows. Feel free to use whatever scent you are drawn to most, or leave it unscented!
Ingredients 3 Tbsp Santa Cruz Medicinals CBD infused coconut oil OR CBD olive oil! (link below) 2 Tbsp organic honey 3 drops lemon juice 1/2 cup organic granulated sugar scent if desired- I used 5 drops lavender essential oil
Measure 3 Tbsp CBD coconut/olive oil into a bowl. Slowly pour in honey, stirring as you pour. Mix vigorously until they are well blended. Squeeze lemon into bowl and discard peel, stir in half the sugar, and mix. Blend in the remaining sugar until a thick paste has formed. To use, massage a small amount gently in circles onto skin, spending more time on drier areas. Once you are finished scrubbing, rinse with warm water. Pat skin dry with a clean towel and finish with a moisturizer, or a small scoop of plain CBD coconut oil!

I decided I am going to use it once a week for a month to see if I experience any changes in how dry my feet can get. I'll let you know how it goes, and in the meantime, enjoy this sugar scrub recipe!
