Simple CBD Infused Pizza Recipe

I was raised on pizza. Hailing from Northern California, I would have a hard time remembering a pizza-less birthday party from my childhood. As an adult, I fondly recall the buzz that would arise within my group of friends when my mom would come home with a pie from the local pizza joint for dinner. I adore the stuff so much I trained my dogs to respond to "pizza" instead of "dinner". I'm not kidding. I'm obsessed.  As I sit writing this, my mind zaps around a gooey, saucy menu of topping combinations. White sauce, feta, basil! Pesto, bacon, arugula! Tomato sauce, mozzarella, and...CBD?! YES. CBD infused pizza is totally a thing. While it is only one of the many creative culinary ways you can get your dose of cannabidiol, it is by far my personal favorite! When I think of pizza plus CBD, it is difficult to come up with a better combination. Some studies have found CBD to promote a general overall feeling of relaxation

in addition to an assist in boosting metabolism ( effects-benefits-whole-plant-medicine), so in my opinion, adding CBD to the king of chillin' foods really does go hand in hand. Making homemade pizza is a blast. For me, it is an opportunity to not only save money, but to explore tons of different flavor combinations! Usually my pies turn out pretty great, but this CBD pizza recipe... is DAMN incredible. Plus, its one of the easiest dishes to make. The hard part is waiting for it to finish baking! In the steps below I will share my homemade CBD pizza recipe. The final product is a simple, cheesy CBD infused pizza for 1-2 people.

Ingredients For Crust: 1 (.25 oz packet) active dry yeast 1 teaspoon sugar or sweetener replacement 1 cup warm water- warm is important! It helps the yeast rise! 2 1/2 cups flour, all purpose flour works just fine


1 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons of Santa Cruz Medicinals CBD infused Olive Oil (

My toppings 2 tomatoes, mashed 1 teaspoon garlic, finely minced 1 package shredded mozzarella cheese 1 package shredded monterey jack cheese 1/4 cup chopped basil salt pepper

Instructions Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

In a medium sized mixing bowl, empty contents of dry yeast packet and sugar into warm water. Stir lightly, let stand until cloudy (5-10 min)

Gradually stir in flour, salt and CBD olive oil. Continue stirring until it is smooth.

Pour crust dough onto lightly floured surface such as a cutting board. Pat to form into a round, and move to lightly oiled pizza baking tray or board.

Spread with the toppings you're craving, the ones I've listed above, or try something new! Bake


for 15-20 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and crust is golden in color. Let cool, cut, and enjoy.
